"We had to arrive super late due to multiple travel issues, but they were still incredibly nice and accommodating despite that. The ryokan was gorgeous and the onsen was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed feeding the koi in the morning. Would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay and enjoy the mountains. Our whole group left happy. "

"Nice hotel. Huge room. The bathroom was bigger than the other Japan hotels we stayed at. All the staff we interacted with were fantastic. A bit of a language barrier but they tried their best to communicate. We got a really good rate for two days, included breakfast. Just so no one is caught off guard as I was, this is an adult hotel. Not as in no minors, but as in a love hotel. If you’re not familiar (I was not) Google this first before booking so you know what you’re getting into. If that doesn’t bother you, it was a great stay for a great rate. The 7/11 is across the street for good snacks and actually good meals. Check out the sweets factory a few blocks behind the 7/11. The only down fall is, it’s a bit of a hike to and from the bus station. "

"The property is nice and has all required aspects for a family stay with kids with a small kids library shelf near the reception, vending machine and dining hall access throughout. Staff were also very nice and parking was ample and easy. Only regret for this property was the carpet in the room was quite old, stained and dusty - it needs replacement or deep cleaning. There were left over beverage bottle under the bed from previous occupants. The bunker bed system was a boon to a family like ours with a 11 year kid but the mattress could be a bit more soft. "
