"I really enjoyed my stay, I was treated exceptional and having airport transportation both ways was a major plus as I arrived at 3AM and departed at 2AM and this was included in my hotel reservation at no additional cost. "Property was at great location, specially at sun set do not miss the roof top pyramid view. Fateh was great and he deserves a shout out for his great service and hospitality. If you are looking for something near pyramids then this is your hotel but if you are looking to stay longer then I wouldn’t as the property needs renovation. "Perfect location for a pyramids visit. Very Noisy area though as the roads are chaotic. The staff were all brilliant and went over and above to help us out when we had a family medical issue, even sending a member of staff with us to the hospital to translate. Rooms are small but convenient and clean, Rooftop Restaurant is nice and cheap with a good selection, and incredible views No other reason to stay in the area though unless you want to venture to the chaos of Giza itself."

"The City View Hotel was a safe and convenient place to stay while I was in Cairo. It is centrally located. The food, I thought was mediocre. There were a lot of packaged items for breakfast and the restaurant served meals that were adequate but the quality wasn’t that great. I think if the hotel wanted to improve it should revamp the entire kitchen in terms of what is available for breakfast and the quality of their food, in comparison to better restaurants and types of cooking. "Spotlessly clean room, good price, super friendly and helpful staff — way beyond the usual, ride provided to airport immediately on request at reasonable price and with reassuring reminders, excellent lift/lelevator, great location near Midan Tala’at Harb and its bookstores, including the new Diwan bookstore— all in all, the only place in Cairo I will ever stay!
