"A great little property tucked away in a quiet street close to the train station. Car parking was not a problem, even though it was not at the hotel itself. Lots of restaurants in close proximity to the hotel. Rooms very small, but clean and well equipped."

This is a traditional Japanese style place, with tatami mat rooms, nice yukata robes for guests, and a very nice indoor outdoor communal bath. I highly recommend it if you are staying in Gero Onsen, one of Japan's big three famous spas."

The shuttle bus was very convenient running from the Kiso train station to the property. The meals were delicious. This was our first stay at a ryokan.
