I had seen that the Restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday (from their own website, but not Hotels.com) one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, but did not expect the Hotel to be closed. "Check in was weird as the reception was closed. There was an envelope with our room key. Room was OK but very small and the shower could not be closed due to weird construction. The shower floor was very slippery. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There is no restaurant and the nearest place to eat is some kilometers across a rather steep descent."

"Having the restaurant closed and the hotel locked when we arrived at 6:30 pm was a bit of a pain. We couldn’t get an answer from the number on the door and were about to leave and find another hotel when I found another number in my email that got a response. The place was fine otherwise."

Parking was extremely difficult, and we had some distance to access the hotel carrying our luggage. We could not leave anything in the car...

"Beautiful serene location. Very quiet room with garden outlook, non too spacious but OK. Bed firm . Bath only in room with hand held shower & no shower screen. Welcome far from welcoming, so quick & abrupt. No elevator. Wifi good. Large car park. Dinner in restaurant was a good meal. Please ask cleaning staff to do something about their body odour, most unpleasant!"
