"Attention to detail in every area was excellent, food choices at breakfast had such variety and catered for all. Staff were welcoming. The room was clean had everything required for a good nights sleep. The room stat could be easily altered to suit. Had tea/ coffee making facilities with a variety of choices "

"Basic but spotlessly clean. Good for a short stay where all I needed was bed and breakfast. My only complaint was that I was not warned that parking was restricted (on Saturdays as well as weekdays) and I got a ticket. Not really their fault, but maybe something to note."

"This is a wonderful hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room is in need of redecorating after what looks like an old damp issue from a water leak outside the bathroom but didn’t cause us any issues. The hotel is in a very good location and we would recommend it to anyone. "

"Service was great a the hotel is newly decorated and clean. Didn’t use the spa but looks good. Minor gripes were that the reception staff were not always there and the extra key ‘card machine’ was not especially simple. The TV had unusual channels and I would have liked more comfortable chairs in the bedroom. Otherwise, a good value hotel with a great shower."

"Another great stay. Welcomed by the ever friendly staff and had a very simple check in. The suite was very spacious, if a little ‘tired’. The collection of furniture was a little comical, with old tiger print sofas and colonial wardrobes all having seen better days. The bed was big and pretty comfortable. The bath was deep and luxurious. However the shower took an age to warm up and left me shivering and wet for about 10 minutes (not great with a cold). For breakfast I opted for the full...
