"It was a comfortable stay. There were a few things that could be seen as a safety issue but nothing that’s not fixable. The radiators didn’t work and the room did get quite cold but other than that it was a secure and safe place. I didn’t have to worry about people coming in and out of the building because of the key codes which is good! I would stay here again as it’s quite affordable and again, a comfortable stay. Loads of shops and food places surrounding which is helpful for those who don’t...

"The hotel was in the perfect location for the rail station, which was the reason for booking. The hotel was adequate in regards to their facilities, and the owner was very friendly, which is always a plus. The room was small, but fine for an overnight stay. It was a little bit musty in smell, though probably just needed airing a little bit more. Breakfast was reasonable and I was accommodated for allergies and preference. "

"Amazing value for money, room had everything you needed, although a little outdated it did the job but the shower was either red hot or freezing cold no matter what setting we had it on and the shower curtain could have been cleaner... "We really enjoyed our stay at the Tudor lodge hotel. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue was we were in the lower ground front room so it was a little noisy. The room would also benefit from some privacy blinds as we kept the curtains shut because there was a bus stop right outside the window. "

Woodthorpe Court and Winchester Court in Chestnut Walk, Woodthorpe Grange Park, Nottingham. They stand on the site of the former Sherwood railway station, which was on the former Nottingham Suburban Railway that used to pass through the park. The railway opened in August 1889 and closed in 1954.
