"It’s a good hostel for a short stay, the showers seem to be brand new and the place is quite clean. There was a really weird smell in my dorm though (it was a mixed dorm) and some people were REALLY noisy. One of them would pace back and forth between the bunks in the morning, which was bizarre. Some had had too much to drink and others seemed quite hostile. As if other people had it easier than them… Just because people don’t complain it doesn’t mean they have a cushy life. One of my gripes...

"A VERY nice place to stay. Close to the train station, but not so close to noise. Breakfast was really good, the staff were excellent, and was an easy walk to where we wanted to go. Would definitely stay again."

"If you can install a hand rail in the shower area were the bath tub is. In room 9, there is an extra small table & a chair, that's great but it will be better if you can add one small sofa kn the other side."

"Nice hostel. Man and women use the same toilet and shower so not feel comfortable , especially when just finished shower can not just walk out until put all proper clothes on and wet in shower could not dress up easy in the shower room. No curtain cover no privacy as every one can see eachother. "

"Amazing period featured property, staff excellent, checking, breakfast and bar staff all great. Breakfast choice great and cooked to perfection. Property has parking and literally 2 minutes walk to Clark’s village. Only downside for us was bed/pillows not overly comfortable, I guess could be personal choice. Would recommend staying at the property."

"We found this space easy and convenient for our stay in Bedminster. Our room, on the ground floor shared space, was comfortable; felt quiet, private and secure. Alongside a small fridge, Coal Shed provide a range of tea and coffee options in the room with crockery and cutlery to hand. A shared kitchen was kept clean and well stocked with equipment and oil for cooking, if you decide to stay in. "Lovely spacious and comfortable top floor room. Great location for business visit to Emerson’s Green. Quiet peaceful location but only a few minutes walk to the shopping centre. Lovely greeting and very friendly welcome. Good continental breakfast selection and great value too (free!) Will definitely be back. "

"What an amazing place with Patricia and Roger being the most fantastic hosts. A truly special place can’t recommend it enough."

"Fairly large room, good view of the town, central location. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, kettle in room. even an iron and ironing board. The TV was small but worked well. Access is via a long staircase over 3 floors pending on which room you get, best to travel light or it can be bit of a haul. We have used ML lodge before and would use it again, its great value for money. One tip, lock your door from inside/outside as it does not lock automatically on closure to avoid unexpected interruptions...
