"Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December). Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table."

"Room was extremely small - no room for suitcases or bags. Midgies were an issue and had to close window - being so small the room was super stuffy. A fan was available which helped a little. If stairs are an issue for you - find somewhere else. Okay for a quick one night stop but wouldn’t recommend for any longer. Dinner (lamb) was amazing - highly recommend the food. "

"Staying on the houseboat was certainly the unique experience that we'd hoped it to be. We arrived later than planned but a quick call to the host helped us navigate to the parking area and gave us directions to meet him at the boat. The boat itself was freshly made up for our group, it was toasty warm with central heating and a log burner. 2 single sofa beds in the lounge were a great solution. "Two single beds a bit creaky, not enough toilet roll 1for four nights. Parking spot very tight and not marked very clearly (someone took our parking spot when we returned late one night, hard to find another spot. Overall very happy with our stay"
