"I was concerned at first because the hallways smelled like air freshener. But when I got in the room, it smelled so clean. I was surprised. The staff was so nice. The food was…. decent (it’s a hotel). It was in great proximity of everything I wanted to do. I would recommend this place. "

And to be honest I didn’t need to swim, I just wanted to sit outside in the sun with my coffee in the morning. Coming from Minnesota, I wanted to drink in all the beautiful North Carolina weather. But even the sitting area outside was closed. "

"Making up room is only done daily if you requst it. For clean towels, coffee pod, etc. you must get at front desk. Found this out on 3rd day of stay. TVs are very hard to turn on. Had to do 4 different steps to get regular channels. Breakfast was good, great variety and very clean. People were very friendly and very apologetic. "

"Check in was quick and easy. The room and hotel were very clean. The parking lot seemed safe. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good the staff was very friendly. The breakfast area was kept clean. Overall it was a great stay. The only issue I had with the stay was the A/C quit working at some point overnight. "We had a great stay and will definitely return. We luckily didn't have a problem with parking, because the motel was not at full capacity, but it is extremely tight quarters to park onsite, so I would not bring a large vehicle there. "

"This property is located directly on the riverwalk and so convenient to everything in the charming historic district. It looks like an attempt was made to update the accommodations with flooring and linens but fell short somewhere when it comes to the bathrooms. (the walk-in shower had plenty of hot water and an updated rain shower head but the condition of the grout within the shower had it "floating" around while you were showering. The bed and pillows were amazing...the towels plentiful...

"Very clean and quiet. My only issue would be to let people know the bathroom is super small. Definitely a one person, squeeze into. "
