"I travel a lot for work and need to stay in a a variety of places usually on a budget. I really liked this hotel. It’s a traditional hotel with all the facilities you can ask for. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean & tidy. It was an all round pleasant stay. I’d definitely book again. "

"The hotel was really lovely. Excellent location. Our room had an amazing sea view. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for two nights and slept really well. We also enjoyed a couple of games of pool in one of the communal areas. We were able to park on a side street right by the hotel and the hotel wwre able to give us discounted parking tickets. "Everything you need for a few nights stay. Walking distance to local shops, bars and the Abbey. Situated in tbe heart of 1066 country on the high street in Battle East Sussex. Only negitive, asked at the recepition about breakfast in the resurant, guy showed us a menu, asked him if he would recomended it he said NO they have only been doing breakfast a coupe of months and pointed us down the road onto the high street to bakery/cafe.
