"The room was large, clean. Beds and linens very comfortable. The only ice is from ice maker in each room in freezer. Ours was turned off so there was no ice. Price was very reasonable. Free coffee in morning. Only one elevator. Nice and quiet. "

"I'm giving it a 4.9 out of 5 stars only because of the hot drinking water in the breakfast area. This seems to be a problem in most hotels. There are 3 carafes, one for regular coffee, one for decaf, and one for hot water. As someone who can only drink hot water, not coffee or tea for health reasons, it absolutely drives me nuts that a hotel can't designate the hot water carafe for hot water only! It's GROSS to take a sip of your water and it tastes like coffee because they are using a carafe...

"Hotel Rapids was a wonderful hotel to stay in! The staff was all super friendly and when we had to switch rooms because of a security issue they offered to help us out with moving our stuff to the new room. I love that they were so approachable about things and made sure the stay was as comfortable as it could be.
