"I had a comfy bed. Heating was easily controlled. Very basic accommodation but had good tea/ coffee facilities. Very small shower but adequate. Seemed to be a lovely popular pub in a lovely area and a footpath were you could go for a walk but I wasnt there long enough to enjoy any of these things. "The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. "My family and I stayed at Wakehurst, it had everything we needed for a cosy and chilled getaway. Lots of nice touches, just be careful not to have the wood burner going too strong before sleeping cos the top can get very warm - figured out how to adjust the fire and everything else at the dome through the helpful guides/qr code accessible videos provided. Hot tub was amazing, they have it warmed up in advance when you arrive and the weather was good enough for us to enjoy the BBQ properly....
