"Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. "This is a great property as it has a range of stay options plus a separate place for day visitors who want to do a game drive. The 'tent' was quite luxurious and game drives informative and exciting. i liked the option to pay what you use and not just an 'all inclusive' which is better value for people who don't eat and drink huge amounts. Fully recommend. "

"The location and grounds were stunning and incredibly well kept. The children had lots of green space to play and explore and be up close with the animals. Our deck was expansive which made for lovely evenings watching the sun go down behind the hills and the sky change colour. The beds were incredibly comfortable which was a pleasant surprise as we have bad backs and often struggle to sleep while travelling. "We had a family trip stay for 3 nights. Arrived late at night and was warmly greeted and would have given us food if we needed but we ate on the way. Friendly , helpful staff were excellent all around. Food was good to average but the service top notch! We enjoyed time by the pool was lovely. Meerkat safari was arranged for us, then we went to High gate Ostrich farm had a terrific guide Jonathon was so fun! "One of the best in Oudtshoorn! Will always go back. Just very disappointed this time with the maintenance and house cleaning Dept. Aircon not working, toilet flush system broken, washing line cable in shower broken.. Someone slipped up big. Rest of team went out their way to accommodate. Well done Kelly and the Chef!"
