"A very nice little apartment hotel which I used while at Ironman Barcelona. The hotel likes the event so was very accommodating of bikes and things like that. Very friendly staff, chatted about how things were going and were happy to answer questions. The room was a little basic compared to a more expensive hotel, but for the price it was fine. Only thing to watch out for is the reception is closed 1-4 in the afternoon so if you turn up then you'll have to wait around. Would definitely go...

"The most disappointing masia we’ve stayed in. They were more interested in making money than their guests’ comfort - I arrived on Friday with a very bad cold and was told that it wasn’t possible to turn the heating on and the only option was to use an extra duvet. They shouldn’t advertise that it has heating if they’re not prepared to use it! Heard everything from the adjoining rooms, including flushing the toilets. They even charged us for ordering extra coffee (tiny cup) at breakfast. "

"Bonavista is at the edge of the tourist area, in a quiet part of Calella. 10 mins away from the beach, the same distance to the main street with the restaurants & shops. It is a very basic hotel, but very clean. Rooms were cleaned & bedding changed daily. When we arrived it was very late & the night porter opened the bar for us so we could have a beer, which was great. We asked for extra pillows & towels & received them within minutes. "So good we want to stay longer because we are unsure of what’s good for what price in Spain we decided to find out compared to Granollers, Canovelles which we paid 42 euro per night this was a good upgrade in term of area room, facilities. I would love if the price was lower I would stay longer but we shall still extend our stay another night and check the other areas close by. Amazing host at Marisol so I want to stay :)"

"This property is an absolute gem. We loved staying here. A beautifully refurbished property, thoughtfully and designed to meet visitors needs. A beautiful location, in the hills with great views from the apartment and pool (which we mostly had to ourselves). Barcelona is easily accessible from a nearby train station and the property is fantastic to return too after a visit to a busy city. Very chilled, lovely atmosphere and the owners are extremely helpful and accommodating."
