"Someone was mugged standing by the main lobby door while waiting for a car service to arrive to take them to dinner. Prior to seeing this, I told my husband that I did not feel safe when i walked from the suggested parking ramp back to the buidling. The general area surround this hotel has gotten less safe over the past few years."

"I had a simple room and a decent stay. Two areas that could have been better for me: 1) the toilet in my room had a narrow drain and clogged four times during my stay; 2) I have a bad back and asked, as I departed, if there was a luggage cart and was told no. This would have been helpful to me. Overall, I appreciated the service and accommodations this hotel provided. Thank you!"

"The check-in was easy and the attendant very helpful. The room was very nice: firm bed, everything in order and well kept. Breakfast was good and when I had a question it was taken care of immediately. We would definitely refer others to the Grand Stay in Delano, MN."

"Our room was incredibly hot! In January, in Minnesota! We had to turn the AC on but turned it off when we went to bed as we had a kid sleeping next to it on the pull out bed. Is was uncomfortably warm and we did not sleep well. Also, numerous times there was no one at the front desk. I wanted to ourchase a water but couldn't. Another night there was a guest locked out and we had to let them in. We called down the the front desk with no answer. The room was clean except the used plastic knife...
