He was very apologetic about the minor leaks from the roof because of the heavy rains. It is like visiting your dear grand-aunt's house, very cosy, quaint, tidy, warm, clean. It is also right next to the Bell Shopping Centre so very handy for food, groceries, anything. "

"It’s my first time staying in a hostel with shared toilet and bathroom facilities. It was a good experience as everything is clean and there are only 5 rooms at this place. It’s just diagonally across the station. You get beautiful views of mt Fuji from just standing outside. "

"Outside of town slightly easily reached by local bus or a walk, but the location was superlative for walks with gorgeous views by the lake and mt Fuji. Good sized room with two beds so room to move. Next to a great Houtou noodle restaurant. "

"One of (only) three hotels in Fujinomiya. It's an older facility but it's clean and well kept. We did not like the limited times available for women to use their public baths. Y1000 daily parking fee is reasonable."

"If it is in the very heart of things—the train station, multiple bus routes, all manner of dining options, with a view of Mt. Fuji to boot (though our view was partially obstructed by an electric pole and transformer). It is a bit hard to find, and gave our cabbie a run for his money (we were driving in from another train stop). Better signage is a must! The tiny letters at the front door are better than nothing but not by much. There are several (4?) “apartments” situated in a single building,...

"The good: great location. We had a wonderful view of Mt Fuji right from our room. Close to the sight-seeing bus line. Close to restaurants and department store. Onsen was fun. Neat to have a room with tatami mats and paper window panels. The bad: older building and in places really showing it's age. Staff only speaks Japanese (but Google translate helps with that). I also learned that futon mattresses aren't comfortable for me (my son loved them)."

"Perfect location. Just a 2 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station and a Hoto noodles restaurant. We stayed a night in a private room with shared bathroom and toilet. The whole premise is very clean. They offer bike rental and free luggage storage. Highly recommended!"
