"So Ive been staying here before they changed and renovated, and this is the second or third time after ive stayed since becoming Wingate. Overall its pretty good, my room did have issues with the showerhead leaking and spraying to the bathroom when using it, which made a mess everytime. But ither than that everything was good, only wish breakfast had more options than the sausage breakfast sandwich, Just add a bacon or verities of the sandwich. Manager was extremely nice and even remembered me...

"Another great Tru by Hilton location! I drove to Detroit to see my Celtics take on the Pistons and like in so many other cities I chose the Tru By Hilton because Parking is easy, the short commute to downtown Detroit was quick and convenient with the Interstate so near by. The lobby complete with a pool table and plenty of comfy couches and seats always has the right vibe when I am away from home and want to just chill. "The property is slightly dated. The cleanliness makes up for the slightly dated facility. By all means, is not horrible. We stayed at a different property close to Fairfield that was not habitable after viewing five different rooms. It was not a Marriott property. Marriott properties are the way to go."
