"Loved this hotel!!! Its clean, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, and we had a good nights sleep!!! Only reason I gave it a 4 star review for property conditions is the pool was not open and murky....most hotels have the pool covered if its not open masking the not so clean appearance!!! "Very nice clean room with nice king sized bed. Fresh and inviting. The breakfast is very good, we had bacon one day and sausage the next. Egg omelet one day, scrambled eggs the next. Fresh biscuits and gravy available every day. They also had muffins, yogurt, juices and great freshly ground coffee. This is the place we prefer to stay when we visit family in Albemarle. Lots of places to eat nearby, Walmart with gas station right across the highway. "

"Staff was awesome from getting me there when I got lost in town to knocking on my door for my wake up call because it wouldn't go through on their end. Only negative was shower head adjustment didn't work only pulsate, put it on anything else and it sprayed everywhere. It was so late I reported it in the morning and they advised they would have someone look at it. I would stay there again."

"We had an amazing time here! We came into town to watch our son play Lacrosse at Pfeiffer. The photos do not do it justice. The home is so pretty and comfortable. It is stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards, and having a bonfire at night. The lake is so peaceful. Angela was so welcoming and responsive to anything we needed. I highly recommend staying here. We appreciate them sharing it with us. We definitely will be back! "

This is a beautiful view from a trail called “Daniel” which you can hike, dirt bike ride, or 4 wheel ..Lots of camping, kayaking, fishing, biking.. beautiful forest. Great escape in nature!
