"This was far and away the best "budget" hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was HUGE compared other places, immaculately clean, and the staff were all very courteous and friendly. The kid of treatment you'd expect from rural folks who treat everyone as family. I can't recommend this highly enough. If you're planning a stay in this area, don't even bother looking elsewhere. This is where you want to stay. "

There is a restaurant attached to hotel but were only serving burgers during our stay. Found a great Italian restaurant close by - Vic’s. Only negative was the strong smell of deodorizer (perfume-like) in the room. "

"This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. We stayed at the lodge. It has been completely updated, but the rooms are still very small. The room was functional though. "We loved every part of our stay and highly recommend this home for families! The home was nice, clean and well decorated. We really appreciated the extra effort to provide snacks for the kids and toiletries in each bathroom. The pool was a favorite and the view of the lake from the deck and pool is beautiful. The games and foosball table were a great distraction for the kids in case of bad weather. We had a great time using the kayaks offered and loved that a boat ramp was available."
