"Pros: Great location, easily walkable to downtown. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever I needed assistance, which I really appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again. Cons: The room’s cleaning wasn’t as thorough as expected, particularly in the shower area where there were hairs on the wall from previous guests. Additionally, the WiFi didn’t work well in my room (I was staying in the leftmost room, furthest from the lobby)."

"If you want to a cost-efficient accommodation near Bar Harbor for a few nights, the Colonial Inn Ellsworth will do the job. Some rooms are renovated while others are in need of a facelift. We arrived late on 10/24 and the customer service personnel was amazing to go as far as writing us a personal note of what to check out based on our person interests. Staff was quick to address any issues such as a clogged toilet. I was beyond impressed with our view and the included continental breakfast was above and beyond. All staff were ever so courteous. I highly recommend this property. A short drive to town."
