"Unique experience. This bed and breakfast is at a bit remote but really magical beautiful small hilltop village town in Burgundy region. The rooms are above a bakery with delicious smell of baked goods. The owner Katherine and staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. "I decided to host my family and friends in a chateau in Champagne for my 50th birthday! I chose this one because it looked like it jumped off the page of a Brontë novel. After reading reviews and looking in a map, I wasn’t expecting anything near by. So we had planned to enjoy some time at the chateau, have a birthday party, then head out on day trips. "It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late and no parking was available we had to park in a public lot about 2 blocks away. We had dinner our first night and were disappointed with the limited menu and they seems to be short staff. We think because no place in Chablis is open on Sunday night, everyone in town was eating at the hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked fabulous. That said, we did have a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. "
