"Was worried after seeing the outside and corridors to the room but no need to as the rooms are very very nice. Good size and very clean. Would stay again for sure. "

"Lovely cosy little rooms with fabulous view. Well appointed, with a small fridge, massive shower, and instant oats and pastries left for you in case you wanted a snack in the morning. I would recommend arriving in the daylight if possible; partly for the view but also because the car park and approach to the rooms are poorly lit. Good value for money."

"Arrived quite late around 9pm but this was no problem. The room we were given was quite simply stunning. A beautiful rustic attic room with wooden floors and huge beams spanning the ceiling. There was a 60 inch TV and Netflix was provided free of charge which was a nice surprise. All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. Staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much to ask for. A thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Booked 3 night stay, arrived to a property that looks to be in disrepair. Rubbish in the garden and overgrown. Opened the door to the accommodation and was immediately floored by the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. 10mins of being inside the property my clothes stank of cigarettes. "The monastery has beautiful gardens to explore in any weather. The accommodation itself is spartan and authentic to the purpose, but is still good material value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for the gardens alone, but the unique experience is also an attraction."
