"5 of us rented this place for a week. We range from 26 to 65 years old. Perfect place for a group of guys to have deer camp. Looking at the original bones and painted over finishes I think we would have preferred it prior to its modern mop n' glow. Nevertheless it worked well for us. The location is perfect for any outdoor endeavor in that area. Three of us are well over 6 feet tall and low fans and a very low loft sleeping area were tricky. "Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "

"This cabin is a gem!!! Located a short walk from beautiful Moosehead Lake and a short drive to activities in town make it a perfect spot. You feel like you’re deep in the woods and enjoy all the privacy that offers. Hosts were wonderful and messaged us just to check in. Would absolutely stay again!!"

"It was a quiet, clean and cosy apartment. It was convenient to the shops and restaurants of the town. We enjoyed hiking at Lily Bay State Park and on Mt Kineo. We had a wonderful day on the water with a tour of Moosehead on the Kate. Our one suggestion would be a small step stool for shorter people. "
