"The staff was immediately friendly and kind. They helped us upgrade our room, leave our bags before check-in, and gave us a tour of the guesthouse. The kitchen was clean and big. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There is no soap or shampoo but it was okay as we brought our own. "

"This is located at prime location, right next to the cp.pt Coimbra-A train station. This is so great! The property has been run by a team/family very proud of their job. "The property manager Luis is friendly, supportive and happy to help - taking care of the guest (I remember the Spanish guy). The Hostel has a good view to the beach, walkable and can rent a bike closely. Easy access to locations. Very clean - down side is that the internet is weak in some points "

"The host was very welcoming and it was nice and quiet - exactly what we needed our first night in Portugal to sleep off the jet lag."

"The place is good enough for the price but, the rooms have no mosquito netting on the windows so you can't sleep with the window open. We got badly bitten in the night by mosquitos and there is no aircon as expected for the price, the room did not even have a fan. We went home a day early because we did not want another night. "
