"This is not a 5-star hotel and the rooms are small, but we wanted to see London and didn't plan to lounge around in a hotel room. The staff was outstanding, friendly and went over the top to accommodate us and answer questions about the area and London in general. The room was clean, everything in working order, and the bed was comfortable. It's within walking distance to the Metro, a grocery store, and many restaurants. If we were to travel again to London, we would stay here again."

"Great as usual, the room is big and comfortable, clean and convenient for the East Croydon station. The only downside was that people next door were loud till early hours, not rowdy, just having loud arguments. Otherwise very good."

"Nice central location, good size room. Reception was nice and allowed early check in. However, the furniture was super old, could do with new ones. Bed and floor was squeaky. Sometimes you can hear people walking around in the hallway. The bathroom from the room felt miles away but this was kept clean."

"The beds were comfortable, with everyone having their own storage space, as well as small shelf next to the beds. While it didnt bother me, there is an attached bar, and can get pretth loud. Transportation was easy to get to, and right next to borough market."

"It was a pleasant stay. There were scaffolding for renovation around the hotel at the time of the stay so a cheaper price. Very clean and modern, the heating rack in the bathroom was on, although the heater beside the bed was not working. I presume was because it was against the bed and the curtains. Other than this, everything else was good."
