"We had the room that Expedia identifies as "Suite, Balcony, Sea View." We were mightily impressed by the quality of the room, its layout, its cleanliness, the fun in-room bathtub, the luxurious shower, the in-room coffee and espresso machines (thank God!), the view from the balcony out over the beach (plus there were two additional mini balconies!), and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The tall gentleman who checked us in (I forget his name) helped me place a takeaway order with...

"The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. "Nice room in a nice location 10 mins walk to the port. Semi sea view (it's half blocked). Anita was very helpful. My only and main issue is there was no WiFi which can be a deal breaker if you don't have roaming data. "

"This was a really nice place to stay in Split and not be alone. Shared a room with 3 people. Easy to secure stuff. Clean bathroom. Close to old town, palace, riva, port. Very walkable. Taxi drop off and pick up is a couple blocks away. There are some stairs to some rooms. Coffee and breakfast was convenient. Very nice, helpful staff. Would stay again. "

"I’d never stayed alone at a hostel before and was very nervous. I was shocked to find a welcoming environment, a clean, quiet, and air conditioned common space, and a sparkling clean and cheerful women’s dorm with a secure locking closet and a few respectful and quiet occupants. One of the pleasantest experiences of the trip, I honestly wish I had stayed longer!"
