"The young lady checking us in was friendly and helpful. The outside of the property is clean, well maintained. The hall carpets are stained. Housekeeping in our room was bad. Soap scum ring in bathtub, carpet needed vacuum around the bed, counter tops show rag swipe marks. The beds are hard and springs "creak" every time you move. No bed bugs though. "

"We stopped for one night passing through town. Hotel was good, and it was nice that it had a gym and 24hr pool and hot tub. Room was large and bed comfy. What I didn’t like was that the hotel had a weird scent. I would have also appreciated a hot water/ tea station. Breakfast was good. "

"We just did an over night - needed a pet friendly place. The stay was decent. Heat/AC worked. TV worked. Towels provided, although for 2 people we only had 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. I'm sure we could have asked for another set, but we were tired. Shouldn't have to ask anyway. The staff was really friendly. Bobbie, AM desk, was super friendly and helpful with breakfast and check out. Breakfast was all 'starch' - no protein and NO Black Tea - only green tea (which I can't drink) so that...

"Every thing was pretty good. There was an issue with the sink drainage that I mentioned to the staff. There was very little food at breakfast, however, the staff were pleasant and helpful. A barking dog late at night was bothersome, but that's what dogs do, they bark. :) We love staying at the Baymont and have done so for several occasions. Will always be back."

"We had never traveled that far away by car and knew nothing about the area really. I chose this Lodge by internet and other reviews. These great reviews proved to be correct in that this was a comfortable, safe place to stay in a beautiful area, with the lake and walking paths very close by. This location makes it easy to do most anything desired in the area. The whole process was very easy. We would definitely make the same choice again."
