"Check in was a bit awkward...clerk charged me though the room was already paid for. She didn't seem to really want to help, and was confused the whole time. Had to get a manager to fix her error...manager was VERY nice. Clerk seemed like I was wasting her time."

"There was damage to the bathroom door frame. The frame was slintered, sharp wood sticking out and finishing nails sticking out. This should have been repaired before the room was made available for guests. We were careful and not harmed by it. Everything else in the rooom was ok."

"Great pet stay option. We were traveling across the country and this was an excellent option for us traveling with a U-Haul and trailer and our dog. The front desk check in was like two minutes and very friendly. The room was a pet room, so it smelled a bit of rug shampoo, and cleaned recently as the carpet was barely damp in places. Great bed for a weary traveler, great shower to wash off the road. They offer very good self serve breakfast and coffee for the road. Very good overnight stay...

"We truly enjoyed staying at the City Hall Grand Hotel. The hotel is unlike any hotel we’ve stayed at. From the moment you enter the building, it’s clear you’re somewhere special. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the room was so cool. From the brick walls to metal ceiling and the in-room shower! It was all very unique and special. Some idiot decided to have a smoke in there room at 1AM causing the fire alarm to go off in the whole hotel. Other than that, there's really no reason we wouldn't stay there again. "
