"My family and I needed a place to stay while visiting Williamsport to support our dad as he underwent major surgery and recovery. I found the Mountain House, saw the photos and it looked like just what we needed. And the house didn't disappoint! It feels like a home, which was exactly what we hoped for and needed - a place to relax in between hospital visits, and place to rest comfortably and make dinner. The kitchen is the most well-equipped kitchen I've ever had the joy of using during a VRBO stay. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and offered plenty of options to walk my dog. And it was incredibly convenient to everything we needed.Also, Leslie was an AMAZING host! She promptly responded to all my messages and was able to accommodate us when we realized we needed to amend our stay to be near my dad as he stayed in acute rehab.While we were there for practical reasons, I could imagine this house being a great spot for a more leisurely visit to Williamsport. I often enjoyed the view of the night sky out the back and imagined it'd be a great place to spend a warm spring, summer or fall evening taking it all in. thanks, Leslie, for a wonderful stay!"
