Even after we checked out of the hotel, we were several miles away and missed our bus to Zurich so we called to ask if he could call us another taxi. "We are glad we chose this hostel for our one night stay. The only tricky part was finding the S21 to Trogen as it is past the train station near a corner and unmarked, but a local helped us. The hostel is a short walk down a steep incline from the Birnbaume stop. It is clean and the breakfast is adequate. The view from the cafeteria is lovely. Board the S21 back towards town to Marktplatz to visit the Cathedral and Abbey Library."

"A very clean hostel and friendly staff members. I forgot my slippers and walked around the room and toilet with my bare feet and didn't feel much dirt. Close to the Zurich lake with beautiful neighbourhood. It is a bit far from Zurich centre but overall a very good stay."

"Pros:location is ok (15 min walk to centre) nice outdoor and restaurant area. Clean. Cons: the room is like a sauna in summer as its so small and is in the roof with a sky light. Overpriced for a bunk bed and shared bathroom. No kitchen. The shower turns off after about a minute but you can just keep pressing the button. "
