"Fabulous location minutes from the city centre shops and local restaurants. On entry, reception desk location is easy to miss as its in a corner snd not easy to see from the entrance. We had to ask reception to increase the heating as we were unable to adjust within the room. Need to do a bit more work with housekeeping, dropped a ring on the floor and had to move th bed, which highlighted that the space underneath hadnt been cleaned in a while. "Stayed here a few times. It's an affordable, dog-friendly hotel in a fairly quiet area. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Staff are helpful, and the lift was working this time. The only minor annoyances about the room were that it was a tiny bit cold even with the lukewarm radiator fully on; and one of the old spotlight bulbs wasn't working so it was a bit dark (seems like a no-brainer to put LEDs in, unless people nick them or something).
