"Overall the property was good, especially for the price. The only downside was the parking was supposed to be free but I was told the garage was full and that i couldnt park there. However, i saw several open spots, but they still did not let me park there. Instead i had to pay for parking that the hotel would not reimburse. Other than the false information about free parking the hotel was what we expected."

"The facility was clean. The morning and dinner buffets were good. Outdoor onsen had two pools with different temperature settings. Hotel is located close to the main attractions at Matsushima. Good value. "

The hotel is situated on top of a steep hill so walking into the town is not an option but the hotel provides free shuttle service which is very convenient."

"This was a lovely property; however, like many Japanese hotels, it uses too much chlorine in the cleaning. There was so much chlorine in the sheets that my skin and eyes were burning, and we had to open the windows. The staff is EXCELLENT. Service is EXELLENT I have no complaints about the service.
