"Photos lie, probably taken ages ago. The room was less than basic, uncomfortable hard mattress (and I've lived in Thailand for many years), 1 small pillow, no toiletries, not so clean room, dusty balcony, wood chairs no pillows. Breakfast was terrible. I understand 100% they don't offer breakfast buffet in these difficult times (it felt like we were the only guests), but Nescafe and Coffee Mate?? We are in the coffeeland! The quality of the food was bad, with the exception of 2 super fresh eggs...

"While this is very good value for money and the staff are wonderful, there was no escort to the room or assistance with luggage. The bathroom needed attention to the area around the tub and large ants came out in numbers from gaps in the shower tiles. When staying at country hotels and inns in Thailand, guests should understand that insects etc are part of the experience, as we do. "The room was clean and well appointed, nice shower and bed, so no complaints there. We had hoped that the balcony would be a place to sit and relax in the morning, but the small chair and table barely fit in the narrow space and the balcony wall too high to see over when seated. The “Mountain View” is literally a view to the top of one mountain, otherwise you look over grass to a few banana trees blocking the view. The front desk closes at 8 and they are the ones that give out WiFi codes,...

"The views are sensational, but only 1 plug socket on one side of bed, no bedside tables or lights, the set of stairs to get to the 1st floor rooms were like climbing mount Everest. However the staff were more then helpful. The rooms were cleaned ok, the railings on the balcony were filthy. My girlfriend had to clean. Only 1 chair on balcony. But nice and quiet away from the noise of traffic in town"
