"Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Maria is relatively newest so the property is clean. I got a suite, 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bad, for a family of six (2 adults 4 kids). The room was spacious for the 6 of us, and it was clean. The property is about 40 minutes from SLO and 40 minutes from Solvang. "A quick last minute booking for a quick sleep and shower. Easy check in at 11 pm. Simple bed, bathroom, fridge, microwave and soap only. No shampoo. Bed was ok but pillow was hard as rock.
