"Overall it was a good stay in a budget hotel. The most annoying aspect was the fire alarm going off multiple times and having to evacuate from the 6th floor due to smokers in their rooms. It was located near the train station which isn’t the most central neighborhood in Bordeaux, but it was easy enough to access the city center using transit. The cleaning staff was great and always left our room clean and fresh."

"Clean property, close to train station and not so far from downtown. Only issue is the window facing the street did not close properly and the noise from outside was unfiltered. Additionally, the curtain was in a weird position due to the window itself, so light did get through."

"Proximity to the Bordeaux airport and the new tram line that gives to the airport and downtown. Rooms are small but comfortable with the essentials for a short stay to catch an early flight. Nothing more. The BARE essentials!!"

"Nice stay in Hotel Gambetta. Very friendly staff in the reception and at the breakfast room. "

"Inside the rooms have been recently renovated. That was the only good thing at this hotel. Room was extremely small. They put us outside the patio tables, which at first seemed ok, until 11pm when I of several hotel rooms got loud with yelling, party goes coming and going. Than they spent several hours outside on the patio. Doors slamming and women screaming. This went on until 7am, when we finally said enough and got Ipacked and left..less than 2hrs sleep of and on. Worse hotel booking...

"This a great hotel when you need a clean safe place near the airport. The tram is right by hotel making it easy to explore the city and access the airport. The staff are super nice. The room was small but clean- no frills but had everything we needed "

"We were there for the world rowing masters regatta and the Ibis looked after all of us very well."

"We received our room outside hand soap and towels. We didn’t had hand towels or face towels we were 4 and didn’t have enough towels. I told the person at the reception and he told us I will being it to your room. But we when to visit and when we got back the person was gone and no soap or towels. "

"Decent stay, and quite a few options for continental breakfast, waffles, pain au chocolats, cakes, etc. The only annoying thing is that checkout is at 2 pm, so I had to walk around Bordeaux for ages cuz I had got there at 11. Very ealkable to city centre, really close to the tram stop and bus stop and a Carefour right across the street in case you need to grab something."
