Even coming back in after doors were locked from grabbing food around the block, she saw us coming and we didn’t have to wait in the cold, she was right on it. We feel very safe in this hotel and the rooms are large and comfy. We will be back! "

"Our only issue was that we checked the TV info regarding time for Saturday morning breakfast, it said 7A-10a. When we went down at 9:25 everything was locked down & the front desk staff told us it was only until 9A & that corporate had not changed the info in the system. Not happy."

"We love staying at University Place. It's clean and economical and has great walkability."

"Our stay was very pleasant. Close to airport and other areas we visited. The check in was easy and efficient. Everything was explained to us about the breakfast, pool hours and the wifi code. Our room was very nice and clean and stocked with coffee and tea as well as bathroom supplies. I will try to book my stay with this hotel when I come to Portland again."

"The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help as long as you could find them. When i arrived I couldnt find the front desk attendant who was in a back room and there was no sign or bell to ring to alert her of my presence. Another guest had been waiting for 10 minutes. Someone in the lobby, who had been visisting with others went and knocked on the office door when she realized we were waiting for help. It would be great to put some sort of call button out. Also, the wifi was down and...

"Hotel is as expected. It is close to the airport and the freeway so expect some noise from that. The parking lot isn’t great and unloading/loading vehicle for checkin/checkout feels a bit cumbersome. But the hotel is clean and staff were nice. The pool was nice, but hot tub was not working properly so unable to test it. It’s an affordable statu well worth it if you’re needing a place to crash a day or two. "
