The hotel is in front of a shopping centre, which is very convenient for buying breakfast on the go (as we did). "The manager of the hotel was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The room was basic but spotless. The building was old and had some little querks such as "the hill" on our landing just before our room door 😆. The lift was "compact" and just a little cranky at times, but it worked ..... mostly! Absolutely ideal location for the ferry terminal amd for touring the local area. Sadly for got to take pics of the hotel."

"This was the final night of our short holiday in France, booking close to the ferry for a quick getaway the following day. There was a parking challenge which was not a surprise given the reality of the walled city. The hotel advertised a parking facility which was not available but public parking was nearby outside the city and worked well. The hotel is small with creative use of space for the small room - would be a challenge for people with a larger personal body shape! It worked well for...

"The only problems were around access codes after the reception had closed. Your code could not be used so I had to use the help line. And the barrier needed a new key board as the buttons were worn. Each button had to be pressed hard and you had to do it very slowly. "
