The beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The space in the basement was lovely. We did have to be mindful of the water pressure so someone could shower 1 at a time. But overall, this was a beautiful home away from home"

"Convenient off Rt. 1. Stayed here before heading to ferry terminal in Rockland for early start to Vinalhaven. Walkable distance over the river back to Wiscasett for dinner. Walls and floors seem "thin" or not heavily insulated - lots of noise from upstairs and next door at various points in the evening."

( setting might have been set too high) I would have found it beneficial to have an electric frying pan or an electric griddle to make eggs or stir-fry veggies . "This is such a wonderful rental. The apartment is warm, cozy and has stunning views of the Kennebec and the quaint downtown of Hallowell. This was so convenient, everything you need is within walking distance, and if it's not it's a short drive to Augusta. The apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you'll need.
