"The Royal Mountain Hotel is not in the centre of Luxor, but its position on the edge of the desert near the Valley of the Kings means it is quiet and has beautiful views of the nearby mountains. Khodry and his team are very helpful, with excellent English, and organise good-value tours and guiding. The pool is clean and well-maintained and the hotel food is tasty and authentically Egyptian. "We loved everything about this place. The owner helped with all the things we wanted to do. The room was amazing! Out of all the places we stayed on this trip. This was by far our favorite. The home cooked meals were a highlight of the trip. Tayeb and his staff made it feel like we were family. I highly recommend The Scorpion House. "
