"Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend."

"The room was comfortable, particularly the bed, although we did find some broken plastic under the sheet, not sure where it came from. There was no hot water from the sink even after running the tap for a while and the cistern to the toilet kept running after it had filled up. Saying all of that we would probably stay again."

On arrival we were told they didnt do breakfast which was included in our stay, the Landlord then cooked us croissants the night before to take to our room for the morning. "Agnes is so welcoming and a ray of sunshine! The breakfast is a very high standard, your bedroom will be furnished beautifully and the beds are comfy. Located close to the center and free parking. The hosts will go out of there way to explain the attractions near by. Highly recommended and will be back, has made our visit to cornwall very enjoyable. "
