"What a splendid break !!! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our mini-break at the Tower. Very quiet & remote which was exactly what we were looking for. Well appointed with fantastic views from the higher floors. Note. Lots of stairs as you would expect, so a reasonable level of fitness and mobility is needed. 5 out of 5 from us."

"Overall stay was nice. Only issue was the piece of wood art above the bed. Was full off cobwebs and spider's. Im chronic asthmatic and this wasnt ideal for me with the dust. I cleaned it myself . "

"Real hidden gem. Not so interesting from the outside, but very nice inside indeed. All was comfortable with enough space. Big enough for 2 persons with all you can wish for. The only advice I could give is to have more then just 4 pieces of cups, plates and everything. This can not fill the dishwasher."

"Lovely house with everything we needed and plenty of space for our group of 7. The location was perfect, close to the beach and the coastal path for beautiful walks. The host was very accommodation and provided any information we needed, and the chocolate buns were very tasty!! There is a nice pub and a small shop within steps of the property and the fish and chip shop is just a short drive away. Thanks for an amazing stay, we had a great weekend! "

"The room was nice. Due to Covid restrictions, we didn’t see a single member of staff apart from the man in the bar, which wasn’t the kind of hotel bar I expected. No real ale (“because it wasn’t worth doing” according to the barman). No coffee either. We went to our room via a side door, so we didn’t even see the hotel facilities. "Very, very unimpressed with the heating situation. Only on our way to our property were we informed, by text, that the main form of heating is a log burner - and it was our responsibility to buy logs! The central heating was controlled only by the owner, remotely via an app, so we had no way of turning on, off or up the radiators. "A one night stopover. Room a little dated and but clean. There weren’t many accessible plug sockets which made life a little difficult when trying to work. Twin beds - creaky - and feather pillows which I don’t do well with so didn’t have a great nights sleep. Staff wonderful, so welcoming and friendly and one lady even ironed my dress for me.
