"If you are looking for a hotel directly in Portimao (rather than near the beach), there are not many options. Made Inn hotel is close to both, train and bus stations, and also close to all amenities, shops, shopping centres etc. Simple decor, but clean and very nice and helpful staff."

"Basic but reflects in price. The rooms were absolutely freezing and there was no duvets provided, just a thin sheet and weirdly a curtain to cover yourself. It was so cold in the night my daughter was waking up crying, they really need some heaters or duvets. Lady on the desk was friendly."

Not perfect like u can tell it was done on the cheaper side regards renovation but still modern and nicer than most other hotels I’ve stayed in.. overall great experience and I would stay here again. "Very good stay in Almancil, 15 min drive from Faro and 40 mins to Benagil caves. Host was gracious enough to accept a late check-in for us and was always available on whatsapp for any queries. "
