"The only thing that was awkward was the elevator if you needed to access the rooms on the south side. You had to get off the elevator and go down 4 steps carrying your luggage. We really liked the room, fireplace and private balcony with mountain view. We enjoyed their "happy hour" in the lobby seating area. A nice touch."

"We stayed at Irwin’s for 2 nights in a standard king room. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner one night at the hotel’s on-site restaurant which was very good. The property is an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of Banff. There are lots of restaurants and a supermarket in close proximity. Happy to recommend."

"Great location, easy walk along Banff Ave into the heart of the village. Set back a bit so very quiet, we even saw an Elk one evening coming back to the hotel! It's an expensive option, however the room we had was large and well furnished for our short stay, we also booked quite late so there may be cheaper options available. Breakfast was basic, but welcome and the parking was fine (med size car). TV with streaming was good. We loved staying in Banff."

"I really enjoyed our stay here. We got a wonderful view of the creek and the mountains, it was close to one of the more popular bars and downtown was all walkable. The rooms didn’t have AC and it was hot after the afternoon sun hit but it quickly cooled off with a fan and the door open. The only part that wasn’t clean was the ceiling in the bathroom had some mold, probably because the fan wasn’t making enough ventilation. The rest of the room was very clean and so it didn’t bother us much "
