"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "

"The home was very clean and offered plenty of space for our group. However, there was a strong smell. Maybe from being shut up for an extended period of time? One of the boys in our group said “it smells like old people in here.” I would have to agree that it was definitely a smell like an older home has sometimes. Not as well stocked as many similar properties we’ve stayed in, but had a few items handy (paper towels, toothpaste, soap). One big one is coffee! There is a pot and filters, but...

"This was a great property, it has an amazing view of the lake. The updates to this house are wonderful. When we come back home to this area, this will be one of the first properties we check availability on, if we need one. The management stays in contact and if you have any issues at all, there is someone that stays across the street that can help you with anything you need. "

"It was gorgeous and very calming endless outdoor adventure. My only setback was this was the first experience with solar power and it would have been helpful to have a welcome book with instructions on how to unplug the outside lights when not in use as well as a guideline on the power and how to prevent overuse and what to do when if it runs out. Outside of this I highly recommend this oasis to disconnect from technology a bit and really enjoy time with your family and embrace the gorgeous...
