"The Pousada Brasil is a 6-7 minute walk to the main town square, and the owner/manager is very friendly and helpful. As with many pousadas, the hotel is a very traditional building with a little balcony, nice windows with shutters. The room was very spacious, with a walk-in closet, and views towards the street outside and historic centre, which I liked. "

"This is an "adult property", not a proper place to stay unless one is looking for a discrete place to have sex. I feel I was bamboozled into making this reservation and I doubt I will ever see my money back. For the record, it is a very long distance from the center of Ouro Preto. "

"Very stylish accommodation close to everything, very convenient and safe parking. You’re transported back in history with modern conveniences and beautiful view of the town. Staff speaks English which is be big reprieve from translator on cell phones. Breakfast is awesome and everything is organic, I haven’t eaten eggs with yellow orange yolks since I was a child! "I wouldn’t stay on this property again. They gave me a room on the third floor, no elevator and no one to help us with my luggages. It was located on a very downhill street, we were afraid to slide down hill. The bed was hard like a rock. The breakfast didn’t impress me ."

"La habitación para 3 era amplia. La Posada está ubicada a 10 min del centro caminando por un terreno plano cosa que no es nada común en Ouro Preto. Lo único es que estás al borde de una de la carreteras de acceso a la Ciudad así que si no te gusta oír coches o motos, llévate tapones! La otra es que para acceder tienes que subir unas escaleras lo cual puede ser pesado si traes maletas."
