"The room was very plain there was no soap or shampoo available The shower door at the bottom needs to be clean better but other than that was an okay stay there was a funky odor in the room when we walked in almost like sewage okay"

"It’s a 40 minute walk down hill, along the cobbled sidewalks, right the way through town to get to the hotel. It’s an old hotel, and I would say it’s in need of attention. Very, very narrow, steep stairs to climb with luggage. Noisy in the hallways as people enter and leave their rooms. And if you get the single bedroom, beware the distance between the toilet and the wall is so tight, you will have to sit sideways. Also the absolute hardest bed I’ve ever slept in. Honestly felt like cement....

"Really good despite the weather. No evening meal but lots of restaurants close by. Night entrance meant that you could enter hotel as late as you wanted. Beautiful village. Lots of places to visit nearby, staff really friendly and helpful. Lots of car parking, either right outside the hotel or in the square. We used the hotel as a base to go sightseeing and as such it suited us fine. Highly recommended. "
