"The place was interesting and we enjoyed our stay however it was a bit inconvenient for people our age (late seventies). The room was upstairs and the stairs were many and steep. The staff was very helpful though and they carried our bags up on arrival and down on departure day. The detour to get to the lodge was very long along dirt road. The food was very good and plentiful. In the end we had a good stay but probably will not return."

"Loved being so close to Sequoia Park, and truthfully we mostly used it just to rest before and after the park. I did find myself wondering why the quilts were ugly-side-out. The area around where the rooms are was a little worse for wear. But the room was clean enough, and I really, truly loved the sheets that were on the bed."

"We stayed here for several days with extended family, adults and kids. The property is very beautiful and clean. The backyard was beautiful, lots of patio seating area, a nice patch of grass (we had a small dog who loved that), and a small stream where the kids played every morning. Unfortunately, there are some wildfires in the area so air quality was not the best and we couldn’t spend as much time outside as we would have liked. "Decided to base our visits to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks from the fantastically located and charming property. Best decision ever. The cabin is extremely clean, well appointed and comfortable - and the bit of quirkiness adds to a great experience (although the shower is indeed narrow! There is no hallway to the 2nd bedroom so its either an outside exit or a walk through of the other bedroom). The internet was fast and reliable.
