"This was a nice convenient place for a great value. The room was clean, the breakfast was good (even a waffle maker). The young woman at the desk was very kind and helpful. The restaurant and bar were closed at the hotel for renovations but there are places nearby to go for food and a travel plaza next door. "

"Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU"

"The room was much larger than expected which was a nice surprise! It also included a kitchen which was not included in the room photos. I do suggest room photos need to be updated on the site, the surprise was nice but I would love to know what I’m booking before I book it. The woman at the front desk who checked us in was phenomenal, I wish I would have caught her name. She was super helpful. Provided us with a list of nearby dining options and also supplied us with plates for our dinner that...

"This property was great for an overnight stay to see a Penn State volleyball match. The location was great as it was less than a mile to rec hall, it’s “off campus” so it’s a lot quieter than the downtown hotels. There’s several food options close by and convenient, free parking. The rooms were clean and updated, nothing too fancy but perfect for our family stay."
