"The booking had not reached the Hotel so luckily, the hotel was not full. I had to forward my booking email to the hotel. This is clearly not the fault of the hotel but not a great start! However, room was clean and spacious looking over the main street. No great noise and although the street lights are powerful, there are blackout blinds. Breakfast was continental plus eggs and coffee. Checkout was ok although the hotel could not process my UK credit card for some reason"

"The property afforded us a great view overlooking the small city of Saraguro. It is a part of the very interesting indigenous tourism project in the area that focuses on telling the story of the Saraguro people who had been forcibly moved to the area from their original homes in Bolivia or Peru after being conquered by the Incas. The staff was helpful in organizing a day trip into the rural areas around the city to observe several slices of rural Saraguro life."
