"Firstly, Vanessa was amazing and welcoming. Very efficient and she upsokd the restaurant for lunch while we waited for the room to be ready. The room was small but that's normal for UK. Love the fact that there is nothing level at the hotel. Adds to the charm. This is our third hotel in the UK and none have been level.. not so bad we couldn't sleep or function. Just adds charm"

"I had a great six night stay here--it was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. I had no problem with the pub/nightclub noise, but if you're sensitive or a light sleeper, you should read the listing carefully and make an informed decision. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. Not much surface space to prepare food on. No where to keep supplies purchased other than work surfaces and fridge. Shower was not great, needs to be attached to the wall. Could do with a proper electric one to be honest. Bathroom bin not emptied from previous occupier. No wifi and phone signal not great. Not always a bad thing but necessary if needing to contact family left at home."
